Thank you for playing our games. MallowByte LLC ("we," "us," or "our") builds free mobile games. This Privacy Policy applies to all games published by MallowByte LLC, our website mallowbyte.com, and related support communications (together, the "Service").

This policy explains what information is handled and why. Using the Service does not grant permission for optional purposes; where a choice applies, it is asked for separately. We will not use or share your information except as described here.

Information We Collect

You can play our games without creating an account. By default, your game progress and settings are stored only on your device. Some games offer optional online features — signing in, cloud save backup, purchases, or gameplay analytics — and the sections below describe exactly what data those features use when a game offers them.

Our games use third-party advertising services that may collect information used to identify a device, such as its advertising identifier (Google Advertising ID), IP address, and device information, to serve and measure advertisements.

If you contact us by email, we receive your email address and the contents of your message, and use them only to respond to your request.

Advertising and Privacy Choices

Our games are supported by advertising. We use Unity LevelPlay to deliver ads, which may be provided by networks such as ironSource Ads, Unity Ads and Google AdMob. Depending on the game, ads may include interstitial and optional rewarded formats. These partners may process device and advertising identifiers, IP address and approximate region, app/device information, ad views and interactions, and diagnostics to deliver and measure ads, limit repetition, and prevent fraud. Where permitted, information may also be used for ad personalization.

In regions with consent requirements, our games use Google's User Messaging Platform to show the applicable privacy forms before admitting the advertising services; your choices are stored on the device and can be reviewed under Settings > Privacy choices in games that provide them. Google appearing as a consent-message provider does not mean a game serves Google ads.

You can also reset your advertising identifier or opt out of ads personalization in your device settings under Settings > Google > Ads (or Settings > Privacy > Ads, depending on your device). Declining personalization does not remove ads or unlock ad-free play, and privacy choices never remove progress or rewards already earned.

Accounts, Cloud Saves and Purchases

Some of our games offer an optional account for backup, recovery and purchases. Where offered, Firebase Authentication provides the account identifier; a temporary anonymous identity may be used while connecting. If you link with Google, Google and Firebase process the identity information needed for sign-in, which can include your Google account identifier, name and email address. We never receive your Google password, and we do not read your inbox or contacts.

In games with cloud backup, when you use account backup (or a purchase requires a verified backup), a copy of your game progress is stored with your account identifier, save revision and save time on our Firebase cloud service. We use it to back up and restore progress, resolve save conflicts, and prevent duplicate rewards. A cloud save is not a public profile. Games without cloud backup never upload your saved game.

In games with purchases, Google Play handles checkout and your payment details. Our purchase service verifies purchase tokens and keeps transaction records — product, account binding, purchase time, and fulfillment/refund status — so we can deliver and recover purchased content, handle refunds, and prevent fraud. We never receive your full card or bank-account details. Deleting game data is not a refund; use Google Play's purchase and refund process for payment requests.

Gameplay Analytics

Sink Shot: Puck Pool uses Google Analytics for Firebase to understand installs, gameplay and reliability: for example which modes are played, match outcomes, virtual-currency activity, counts and durations. Events never contain your complete saved game. Analytics uses a pseudonymous app-instance identifier together with app, device and approximate-region information.

Where Google's privacy message asks for a choice (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), gameplay measurement follows the analytics choice you make in that message and stays off until you make one. Where that message does not require consent, gameplay measurement is on by default for new players. You can turn it off at any time under Settings > Privacy choices ("Allow gameplay measurement"). A choice to turn it off is kept until you turn it back on, and turning it off also resets the analytics identifier on your device. If you turned measurement off in an earlier version, it stays off. Turning measurement off stops new collection; records already held by Google are handled under Google's retention and privacy policies. This setting applies to Sink Shot only and does not carry across other MallowByte games.

Log Data and Cookies

When an error occurs, third-party services in our games may collect Log Data such as IP address, device name, operating system version, app configuration, and the time and date of use. Our games do not use browser cookies, but third-party code in them may use similar local technologies to operate their services. The mallowbyte.com website is informational only: it has no accounts, forms, advertising or analytics cookies, though hosting and security providers may process standard request logs.

Account and Data Deletion

To request deletion of a game account and its cloud data, email support@mallowbyte.com and name the game — for example Pool Survivor or Sink Shot: Puck Pool. Identify the Google account you linked, if any; if you played with an unlinked identity, say so and we will help identify the record. Never send passwords, payment-card details or purchase tokens. We may ask you to verify account ownership, and you can request deletion of a cloud save without deleting the whole account.

Account deletion removes the account and its cloud progress. Limited transaction, security or legal records may need to be retained for fraud prevention, accounting or legal obligations; we will explain any exception that applies. Clearing a game's app storage or uninstalling removes its local save on that device, but does not delete a cloud save or purchase history. Deleting a game account does not delete your Google account.

Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct or delete your data, restrict its use, withdraw consent, or complain to your data-protection authority. For any privacy question or request, contact support@mallowbyte.com.

Service Providers

We use Google/Firebase for account and cloud services, Google Play for billing, and Unity/ironSource and Google AdMob for advertising. Data may be processed outside your country under the providers' applicable safeguards. Their practices and privacy-request channels:

  • Google Play Services
  • Firebase
  • Unity (Unity LevelPlay, ironSource Ads, Unity Ads)
  • Google AdMob (how Google uses data from partner apps)

Security

We value your trust in providing us your information and use commercially acceptable means to protect it. Remember that no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we delete it from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we can take the necessary actions.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time and will post any changes on this page. Changes do not themselves grant permission for optional purposes; new optional features ask for the applicable choices in the app.

This policy is effective as of October 19, 2026.
